Silent Movie Director

There is an app for the iPhone called Silent Movie Director. You can manipulate your videos to be vintage-like with your choice of music. I made the video below of the boys. The filmography reminds me so much of the old movies my grandfather made of my mom and her brother when they were little. Only, it took a lot less effort for me to make mine.

Yes, at one point James is pretending to nurse Jude. And yes, Jack and James are fighting over Jude. :) Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Let's Go Fly A Kite...

Up to the highest height...and send it soaring!

Sunday was a super windy day here in Montgomery. We couldn't resist taking our kites to Alabama Shakespeare Festival to fly them. We enjoyed a picnic first then launched our kites!

Spring Soccer Season

We've been hanging at the soccer fields for over two years now-fall and spring seasons! Though James was signed up a year ago for just one season...he didn't play too much. This year, however, he is much more focused on the game. I was a little concerned, because the first play of the 1st game James was literally tackled by a boy on the opposing team who looked to be more suited for football than soccer. I assumed James would ask to not ever play again after being rung around the neck and brought down to the ground. However, after a pouty face for a couple of minutes, he got back into the game! I was so shocked and proud of him for giving it another go! He was knocked over a few more times, which is inevitable in ameba ball, but got right back up and played! My little guy is growing up before my eyes!

Jack blossoms a little more each soccer season. He thinks of himself as a team leader this year. He amazes me at his ability to make new friends so easily each time he joins a new team. And I love how he celebrates as much as a teammate who makes the goal does. It's interesting to watch such a kind-hearted, protective kid competitively compete. He's got compassion on the field, but remains very competitive.

And Jude will grow up watching soccer! Here he is at his first soccer game!

It won't be long before we're watching him on the soccer fields!

Late Bloomer

I am so blessed! I expressed worry about Jude not sitting on his own yet. Jack, my old soul little boy said, "Don't worry Mom, he's just a late bloomer." Thank you Jack, you're completely right!
