James woke up yesterday insisting to have his training wheels removed. If you know our James, you'd know that he can get quite frustrated very easily when learning a new skill. But we've seem him grow so much this year and learn more and more with little frustration. It still seemed like a far fetch kind of goal for James...besides, Jack learned how to ride a bike only a little over a year ago (my boys are late bloomers). Even though we dreaded the frustration the two wheeled bike was going to cause James, we decided to grant him his wish. And to our surprise he took off almost immediately!!! Then Jason took him to a grassy hill to practice his skills. He must have ridden down the hill a hundred times! So, he really knew he was ready! Love that boy!!!
